Children’s Chorale

Jackson Children’s Chorale

Jackson Children’s Chorale, a joint effort by the Jackson Michigan Chorale and Jackson Community Music School, is an opportunity for young people in grade 3 through middle school to learn basic principles of vocal production and to be introduced to quality choral literature. Directors are Jackie Livesay and Anne Frank.

Three to five performances are included in each semester. In recent years, the Children’s Chorale has performed with the Jackson Michigan Chorale, Jackson Symphony Orchestra, and Jackson Community Band, as well as at numerous venues including Michigan Theater of Jackson and the Governor’s Residence in Lansing.

Rehearsals are Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30pm. Cost is $50 per semester; scholarships available. For more information or to register, please visit
